Top hats and amazing tales in LEGO bricks!
When was the last time you wore a piece of LEGO?
Hats made from LEGO and designed to impress were the order of the day for this year’s eagerly-awaited Ladies Day. And steal the show they did. For sheer impact even Mrs Gertrude Shilling, a much-loved British institution, with the press and public fondly nicknaming her "The Ascot Mascot", would have been impressed!
For the technically minded the top hat weighed in at approximately 1kg and contained around 1000 bricks.
The ladies hat concept was designed in collaboration with a fashion student and Bright Bricks then brought it to life in LEGO.
The finished millinery masterpiece weighed in at around 2kg and the 'lucky' lady got to wear it all day at Ascot.
So hats off to Bright Bricks. If you're looking for the unusual, the unexpected or the downright outrageous, then a private commission could be exactly what you're looking for.
You can be sure of one thing. The result won't go unnoticed!
