The end is nigh!

The LEGO Christmas Tree installation at St Pancras Station is reaching completion as I type, the big switch on is Nov 24th 2011.

After an epic amount of work by Duncan, Ed, Abi and Martin the LEGO Christmas Tree that has been going up at St Pancras Station will be completed tonight (22nd/23rd Nov 2011).  Due to how busy the station gets during the day Bright Bricks have only been on sight during the haunting hours with Duncan and Abi pulling an amazin stint of long nights.

Now all the branches are bolted on and everything is hanging off the tree, the structure is taking its full load.  Credit is due to Beamline Steel whose steel frame has worked superbly, slotting together and taking the estimted three tonne full weight of the tree.

We're continuing to keep a blow-by-blow account of progress on Facebook so take a look and post a comment.

The grand switch on of the lights will be taking place on November 24th and Duncan, Ed and everyone else involved will be there from 7am on the day, so if you can make it down or you'll be in the area anyway, pop along and say hi (and laugh at Ed wearing a silly outfit)!
